Most plastic with titanium pigment particle size is fine, usually coating titanium pigment particle size was 0.2 ~ 0.2 microns, and plastic with titanium dioxide particle size was 0.15 ~ 0.3 mu m, so we can get the blue phase, for the majority of resin with yellow phase or easy yellowing resin covered.


Ordinary plastic with titanium dioxide, generally without surface treatment, because the conventional hydrated alumina such inorganic coated titanium pigment, when relative humidity is 60%, the adsorption equilibrium of water at about 1%, when the plastic under high temperature extrusion processing, water evaporation can lead to smooth plastic surface porosity, this without inorganic coated titanium dioxide, typically through organic surface treatment (polyol, silane and siloxane), because plastic in titanium pigment and coating in titanium pigment is different, the former is in the low polarity of the resin, by mixing shear processing, organic after surface treatment of titanium dioxide, under the appropriate mechanical shear, can be well dispersed.
